Pounds' Turkey Farm has been family owned and operated for the past 70 years.  Specializing in raising turkeys the old-fashioned way, we provide delicious farm fresh turkeys for the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays.  Our fresh turkeys are available here at the farm or at a number of Pittsburgh area markets.  Frozen turkeys are available at the farm year round.  Pounds' turkeys are free of hormones, antibiotics, salt and other additives.

In addition to our hoilday turkeys, we process more than 60 turkey products here on the farm.  Favorites include hickory smoked turkeys & breasts (2005 Grand Champion), smoked bacon, snack sticks, our own deli meats, ground turkey suasages, etc..  We have consistently won awards at the Pa. Assoc. of Meat Processors annual competions.  Our newest procuts include homemade turkey pot pies (also a 2005 Grand Champion Winner!), our own cranberry sauce & turkey snack sticks with hot pepper cheese.  Other popular selections include our own angus beef , also free of hormones and antibiotics, and our new line of all-natural chicken.  We've just added a new line of glazes, marinades, chutneys, etc. from Tait Farms.  Enjoy Raspberry Teriyaki, Apple Pepper Jelly, Cranberry Shrub & many more.  We also offer Sand HIll Berries' jams, jellies, vinaigrette, claret & syrups.  Sweet and delicious ~ enjoyable at any meal.  Both product lines make wonderful gifts too.

Our farm market has been completely enlarged and remodeled to offer shopping convenience and variety.  On Fridays and Saturdays we taste test a variety of products, but ask for a sample anytime you are here.
