2008 Turkey Information

Fresh Turkey  

This season, we anticipate our turkeys will range in size from 10-12# (smallest) through 26-28# (largest) and all sizes between.  Please order in even pound ranges.

Fresh Breast

 
    This year's whole turkey breasts will range from our smallest (4 - 6#) to largest (10 - 12#), with all sizes between.
 
 
Available fresh turkey & breast  sizes are always an estimate - however, we make every effort to fill your order in the weight range you select.
On rare ocassions, we may need to fill your order with a turkey/breast that is slightly smaller/larger.
 
Smoked Turkeys/Breasts are available on a limited basis at Thanksgiving.
 
     Ordering is EASY!  Once you have decided upon a size, simply call the farm at 724-845-7661 to place your order.  We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
 
       While we enjoy our customers visiting the farm to pick up their holiday turkey and have extended hours (see below),  we also realize in our busy world that convenience is a top priority for many families.  If you are not able to visit the farm, we recommend you contact one of the markets listed below to order your turkey directly from them.

Thanksgiving Week:

Monday 24th   -  9am to 5pm
Tues.  25th & Wed. 26th  - 8am to 7pm
Closed Thanksgiving Day
Friday 24th  - 10am to 4pm
Saturday 26th  - 9am - 4pm

Christmas Store Hours:
Thursday 20th: 10-5
Friday 21st: 9-6:30
Saturday 22nd: 8-4
Sunday 23rd: CLOSED
Monday 24th: 8-1
Closed Tuesday & Wednesday - Merry Christmas!
We will also be closed Dec. 30th - Jan. 1st.

What Size Turkey Do I Need?

The following chart is included to help you decide what size turkey to order.  The suggested size includes holiday feasting with moderate leftovers.  For a table full of hearty eaters or if you desire lots of leftovers, add an additional pound or two.  You can never have too much Pounds' turkey!
